Yes | b) Do you support legalizing abortion when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?
No | c) Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions?
I think this question is wrong. I would say that for the most part few actually support abortion, but there are circumstances where it is mandatory to have medical procedures available to people based upon their needs. Incest and Rape are good but not exclusive examples. Removing public funds effectively makes these procedures available ONLY to those diminishing numbers who have health insurance or funds available in this failing economy. Basically I think this decision rests with the individual facing the impacts. |

self explanatory |
I am growing more an more sensitive to the impacts on our great great grandchildren of our environmental protection mistakes. I will be looking more critically at legislation that limits the profit motive for extracting world resources and turning them into profits indiscriminately. We need to kick the racial equity efforts we have just begun to open, UP a good bit. We need to find ways to have everyone contribute more to society and progress. I would like to see a way to get more gas guzzlers Off of the road and more broadband into the homes.
I believe we are losing the technology race on an international basis. Bell Labs, a hotspot of innovation from my youth, no longer exists. The core need for both Vermont's economic vitality and keeping our youth is access to universal fiber broadband. I consider last mile expansion an investment in the future. I would lean to transferring a great deal of the "sin" taxes to supporting local hubs where communities could band together to expand networks....similar to rural electrification efforts from the past. Broadband, as COVID demonstrates, isn't just for email any more. We need to do better. |
