Pro-choice Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
I myself would not encourage or attempt to persuade a woman to have an abortion. However, I would not attempt to create any legislation to overturn Roe v. Wade. There is a fine line between legislating morality and the issue of abortion totes that line. If we as a society desire to create any piece of legislation to do so, it must be enforceable and effective.
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Yes In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Promoting federal spending as a means of economic growth would mean that there are regulations in place that would be prohibiting the desired growth of the economy. This is neither a sound nor effective means of creating a strong economy.
No Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
No Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
No Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
No Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
No Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
If the immigrant has proven to be a lawfully abiding prospect (outside of entering the country illegally and possibly using the identity of another individual), they should have the opportunity to become a citizen. However, it will not be at the detriment to those who desire to enter the U.S and become citizens legally. A fine should be levied and as should be practiced, once tax returns are filed to show remittance of taxes, if a refund is due it shall not be due until they become a citizen or enter the country legally.
Yes Do you support the legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes?
No Should the United States use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a nuclear weapon?
No Do you support increased American intervention in Middle Eastern conflicts beyond air support?
If the U.S. of America is attacked or if there is information that the nation will be attacked then the U.S military should use force to prevent use of a nuclear weapon if the governments hostile to the United States have one. Policing the world is not our job. It has proven to be costly for our nation and if we continue it may incite hostile nations to posses/use a nuclear weapon against us.
Term limits: 3 terms U.S. Representative 2 terms U.S. Senator Legalization of cannabis on a national level
