My major policy priorities are Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and getting big money out of politics. Medicare for All for all would be funded through a combination of a 7.5% employer premium fee, a 3.5% household premium fee, a Wall Street fee, and the closing of the Gingrich-Edwards loopholes. The Green New Deal would be funded through decreased military spending, litigation, fees and taxes for fossil fuel companies, and new income tax revenue generated from the new jobs created. Removing big money from politics would not require funding. |
