My top priorities are the economy, jobs, and putting people back to work. We must be more efficient with taxpayers? hard-earned money, reduce the deficit for future generations, cut taxes for working families, and put our nation back on a path to long term economic prosperity. These issues must be addressed in conjunction with reducing our dependence on foreign energy. I introduced the American Made Energy Act, which expands domestic drilling and invests the lease and royalty revenues in alternative and renewable energy sources. We will lessen our dependence on foreign oil while creating much-needed jobs here at home.
