No a) Reducing state employee salaries AND/OR pensions?
No b) Instituting mandatory furloughs AND/OR layoffs for state employees?
Yes c) Reducing benefits for Medicaid recipients?
No d) An income tax increase on any tax bracket?
I would only support reducing benefits as a last resort. I do think that eligibility requirements should be tightened for ALL benefit programs in Colorado.

No b) Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Yes c) Do you support the use of an independent AND/OR bipartisan commission for redistricting?

I think the private sector is the best judge as to what and how much is invested in alternative energy. The state should not be picking winners and losers for energy projects.
No a) Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
Yes b) Should background checks be required on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows?
Yes c) Should teachers be allowed to bring guns into the classroom?

We have more than enough firearms laws. More laws will not stop the BAD guys from using firearms in the commission of crimes. We need to clamp down hard on criminals who use firearms illegally. I do support the death penalty and it needs to be used more often, rather than litigated so that it cannot be used. Teachers or any other school employee who is properly trained, vetted and screened should be allowed to carry concealed. The ability to protect students should not be limited to only teachers.

I support greater funding for Transporation, meaning roads and bridges, not for bike paths and public buses. Secondly, I strongly support greater funding for rural police and fire responders. Small towns and rural districts are being severely hurt by the Gallagher amendment, which needs to be changed.
