I want to be sure that the state is working with local governments in Kansas to provide support for public health and public safety. We need to focus on early childhood education to give our residents a great start in life. I want to allow individuals to work with their health care professionals on the treatments they need, including reproductive health and medical marijuana. We need to transition to regenerative agriculture and a renewable energy future. And lets be sure to make art, music, and theater part of our individual and public lives. | |||
My legislative priority is to help my constituents and residents of the state of Kansas by listening, showing up at meetings (I do have a 100% attendance score), and as much as possible addressing their concerns. I am funding that by using less than 10% of my legislative allowance for postage and focus on requests that constituents have made to me. |
