Finally, I Co-Chair the Legislative Commission on the Future of LIPA, Long Island's electric utility. The commission will explore public power and the best practices required to make LIPA more affordable, transparent, and accountable. | |||
| Climate change. My district has more coastline than any other district in NYS and is the most impacted by climate change. I supported the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act in 2019.
