Summary


This measure would create a state-funded campaign finance program for qualifying candidates for certain state offices. The measure would allow residents to designate qualifying candidates to receive up to three contributions of $50 each from designated state funds. It would restrict campaign contributions from lobbyists and state contractors; restrict lobbying employment by certain former public employees; increase penalties for campaign finance violations; increase campaign finance administration and enforcement; and revise campaign finance and disclosure laws.
