U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) voted yes today on legislation to defund Planned Parenthood, invest in community health centers to expand care for women, and eliminate Obamacare provisions that limit consumer choices and raise costs.

H.R. 3762, the Restoring Americans' Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act, passed the U.S. House of Representatives 240-189.

"Today's vote expands access to health care while protecting the lives of the unborn. We have taken strong action in the House to help dismantle Obamacare's burden on families and reaffirm that no taxpayer dollars should be used to fund abortion. Many provisions in this bill, including the repeal of numerous new taxes imposed by Obamacare, are supported by Republicans and Democrats alike in both the House and the Senate. I will continue to fight in Congress to replace Obamacare with patient-centered, affordable health care. Together we are making a difference for families in West Virginia and across the nation," Rep. Jenkins said.
