Woodall Reacts to State of the Union Address

Statement

Date: Jan. 12, 2016
Location: Washington, DC

Tonight, President Obama gave his final State of the Union Address before a Joint Session of Congress. U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall (GA 07) issued the following statement in response.

"We didn't hear anything different than what we have come to expect from the President, and sadly I don't expect we'll see much different from the President in his last year either. More than words, America needs leadership that restores national confidence and empowers individuals to pursue their dreams as they see fit. In the House we're focused on providing those opportunities. From jobs and the economy to our commitment to veterans and national security, I hope that the President will choose to work with us on these shared American priorities."
