Issue Position

Dan Huberty will defend the rights of people to practice religion and for pastors and priests to give sermons without fear of persecution or prosecution. He voted to protect pastors from lawsuits or criminal prosecution if they refuse to perform marriages that violate their sincerely held religious beliefs and he will continue to fight for religious liberty.
