Sam Graves Issues Statement on Obamacare Court Rulings

U.S. Representative Sam Graves today issued the following statement after a federal judge found President Obama broke the law by handing out subsidies to fund Obamacare. The judge ruled the White House was illegally spending money that was not appropriated by Congress, as increased healthcare costs brought on by Obamacare left many Americans unable to afford coverage without government subsidies.

"Obamacare has been a never-ending string of lies, broken promises, and increased costs for middle class families," Rep. Graves said. "Today's ruling confirms what we already knew - the Obama Administration did not have the authority to hand out subsidies that people need to pay for Obamacare's expensive premiums. This law is a disaster now just like it was a disaster 6 years ago, and we need to start over with something that can survive without gimmicks or illegal government handouts."
