Clinton Email FBI Recommendation A Disappointment

Statement

"Today, FBI Director James Comey stated that Hillary Clinton was extremely careless in her handling of classified data critical to the safety and security of our nation and openly admitted that no reasonable person in Secretary Clinton's position would have used an unclassified system as a forum for classified conversation. He also mentioned that "it is possible that hostile actors gained access' to national secrets because of Clinton's negligence.

I'm disappointed that the FBI did not pursue criminal charges against Hillary Clinton. As a military man, if I were to ever endanger the security of this nation by knowingly bypassing protocol, I would have been court-martialed and face possible jail time. It is clear that the politician class in DC lives by a different set of rules and standards than those who represent our nation in uniform.

We need a new generation of leadership that is willing to shake up Washington, a new generation to bring about the cessation of this unacceptable behavior that is blatantly displayed by career politicians in Washington. I want to bring to Washington 29 years of military experience, a life of leadership that will aide and guide us towards success in our war on terror abroad while ensuring peace and safety at home. My opponent, Brad Ashford, is a career politician who has endorsed Hillary Clinton, but serves on her leadership team and continues to support her regardless of her irresponsible behavior. We can do better."
