I came to this country when I was fourteen years old because my mother believed in opportunities this country had to offer. Immigration is not a problem that needs to be solved but a defining aspect of the American character and history. That's why as your State Senator I will work on immigration reform, create a path to citizenship for our undocumented workers, and expand access to English language education.
