Expanding access to emerging markets is crucial for creating opportunities for U.S. manufacturers and service providers to sell more American-made goods and services around the world.

As the global market place has grown, few states have benefited as much as Arizona from global trade. Exports from Arizona's strong computer and electronics manufacturing sector, as well as transportation related equipment, help drive economic growth. In 2015, trade represented over $22 billion to our state's economy, while supporting more than 772,000 jobs across the state. With this in mind, I am committed to finding new markets for Arizona's business's and see our state economy thrive.

Additionally, when Congress passed the Trade Promotion Authority this past summer, it included a requirement that the text of all trade agreements be made public for 60 days before Congress is allowed to vote on them.
