Coalition of N.H. Taxpayers Speech

Statement

Date: July 9, 2016
Issues: Elections

I spoke today at the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers annual picnic about the need to reduce the administration and bureaucracy in government. Attendees also heard about both Governor Johnson and Weld's efforts to reduce spending and taxes in New Mexico and Massachusetts, respectively.

Johnson cut taxes 14 times and left New Mexico with a $1 billion surplus. Bill Weld cut taxes 21 times and fought tenaciously to limit the growth in state spending. Perhaps we could accomplish the same here in the Granite State.
