The strong agricultural community makes the Quiet Corner such a great place to life. The 50th District is home to the Brooklyn Fair, the oldest continually active agricultural fair in the United States, and the Woodstock Fair, an equally impressive display of agricultural prowess. Many members of the General Assembly do not share an appreciation for the agricultural issues that are absolutely critical to this district. As state representative, Pat Boyd will go to Hartford and bring the concerns of all farmers to the floor of the State House. He will vote against any bill that threatens the agricultural sector, the backbone of the Quiet Corner.
