The incumbent Superintendent doesn't make tough decisions. She just goes along to get along, which is why she tells Republicans that she works well with the General Assembly and tells Democrats the General Assembly hurts DPI:

When interviewed by the Coastal Carolina Taxpayers Association, the incumbent Superintendent said that she works well with the General Assembly and wants to continue to work with them. Other statements she makes to reporters and in her blog paint a very different picture. Which is it?
