Trump Right to Put Iran on Notice, Byrne Says

Statement

Date: Feb. 1, 2017

Congressman Bradley Byrne (R-AL), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, issued the following statement regarding Iran's recent test of a ballistic missile and National Security Advisor Michael Flynn's public comments on the issue.

Byrne said: "President Trump is right to put Iran on notice for their continued provocative and inappropriate behavior. Iran's continued testing of ballistic missiles is a direct threat to the safety and security of the American people. Unlike the previous administration, Iran should take President Trump seriously and cease with activities that cause further unrest in the Middle East and make the world a more dangerous place."
