U.S. Representative Bill Flores (R-Texas) issued the following statement regarding House passage of H.R. 3364, the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act:

"Russia, Iran and North Korea all pose a threat to America's national security and global interests. Today, the House passed a bipartisan sanctions bill, with iron-clad teeth, to hold these rogue regimes accountable for their actions. This bill strengthens sanctions on Russia and Vladimir Putin in response to cyber-attacks and interference in Ukraine; it targets anyone who contributes to the Iranian regime's ballistic missile program; and deters North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile programs by cutting off the Kim Jong Un regime's access to money. We must reiterate to these nations, and those that support them, that their aggressive behaviors to undermine global stability will not be tolerated. These sanctions reinforce our commitment to America's national security and the security and sovereignty of our allies."
