House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) released the following statement on the introduction of a Senate tax reform plan:
"The House, Senate, and White House have been working together closely on tax reform from the start. While the Senate tax reform plan may different in certain respects from the legislation favorably reported out of the House Ways and Means committee today, we remain united: taxes must go down, individuals and families must have relief, and we must bring businesses and jobs back to America. Doing nothing is not an option. I look forward to working with the Senate on tax cutting legislation that will pass both houses of Congress and be signed by President Trump."
