Issue Position

As your Congressman, I have made great progress on many important local infrastructure projects. We have passed a fiscally conservative long-term highway bill, which will allow us to move forward with major projects that have been on hold for far too long. We are closer than ever before to starting construction on a new I-10 bridge over the Mobile River, and the Secretary of Transportation has vowed to make it a national priority. I will also never lose focus on other important projects like the Foley Beach Express, Highway 98 in Mobile County, and Highway 45 in Washington County. By focusing our attention on projects like these, as opposed to federal bureaucracy and waste, we can help create jobs here at home.
