Date: Feb. 16, 2018
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Elections

Matt Rosendale huddled with White House officials this week to discuss the race for U.S. Senate in Montana. The meeting comes on the heels of a recent poll showing Rosendale with a commanding lead in the Republican primary election.

"I was honored to be invited to the White House to discuss how we will beat Jon Tester in the general election," said Rosendale. "Jon Tester has failed Montana and refused to work with President Trump. I mean business and I'll fight for Montana and support President Trump's agenda in the Senate."

The discussion touched briefly on the Republican primary and recent poll results showing Rosendale with a massive 2:1 lead over the rest of the primary field, before focusing on the general election.

Rosendale met with the White House political team, which implements the President's political strategy.

This is the fourth time Rosendale has met with the White House.

Rosendale holds a 16 point ballot advantage over his nearest primary competitor, and leads the rest of the field in Name ID by 25 points.

Rosendale has been endorsed by over 30 Montana elected officials, including former Congressman Ron Marlenee and House Speaker Austin Knudsen. Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Rand Paul, Senator Mike Lee, former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton, and a number of prominent conservative organizations are supporting Rosendale. Rosendale leads all other primary candidates in money raised from donors.
