Banks: No Reason Not to Support Kavanaugh

Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) today urged Senate Democrats to support Judge Brett Kavanaugh's nomination and confirm him as the next U.S. Supreme Court Justice.

"Brett Kavanaugh's qualifications are unparalleled," said Banks. "He's served with distinction on the D.C. Circuit for more than a decade, demonstrating that he understands the role of a jurist is to interpret the law as written, not legislate from the bench. He has the qualifications and temperament to be an outstanding addition to the Court. There is no reason not to support Judge Kavanaugh, and I urge Senator Donnelly and my colleagues in the Senate to swiftly confirm his nomination with bipartisan support."
