Congressman Todd Rokita issued this statement following the Labor Department's 2018 jobs report, showing 134,000 new jobs added to our economy:

"Unemployment has hit 3.7 percent, the lowest level we have seen since 1969, further proving that the historic tax cuts that President Trump signed into law are continuing to benefit hardworking Hoosiers," said Congressman Todd Rokita. "House Republicans have made good on our promise to provide a pro-growth agenda that supports all working Americans and businesses. I will continue to work alongside President Trump to further bolster our economy and bring tax relief and jobs to the American people."

Rokita is a strong proponent of President Trump's historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as it continues to create more opportunities for Hoosiers.
