Rothfus Meets with President and Mrs. Trump Following Their Meeting with Those Impacted by The Tree of Life Synagogue Attack

Congressman Keith Rothfus (PA-12) issued the following statement after meeting with President and Mrs. Trump and Jared and Ivanka Kushner after they visited the Tree of Life Synagogue and the victims recovering at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

"As the Jewish community of Pittsburgh continues to recover from this evil attack, it is important to recognize the grief each of us is experiencing in our own unique way," said Congressman Rothfus. "Everyone should be given the space to grapple with this tragedy in a manner that allows them to heal. I hope that as we work through this, we will resolve to be united against anti-Semitism and all forms of hatred. In the wake of this appalling attack, I thank President and Mrs. Trump, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Kushner, for visiting with and grieving alongside those affected."
