"The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." The words of our founders are clear enough. The right to protect oneself and one's family is a fundamental right. Jim voted for passage of "Stand Your Ground" and this year voted for the incorporation of the 2nd Amendment into Iowa's Constitution. He will continue to back legislation that recognizes Iowans' 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
