Issue Position

Living in paradise comes with a high price tag, but it should never come at such a rate that those who call this place "home" need to move out of State to survive. Having family and friends who have needed to relocate due to the cost of living here, I know that this is a real concern for many Hawaii residents. I want to be able to ensure that my children will have the opportunity to one day work and live here, if they choose. Purchasing a home in Hawaii, and enjoying a HIGH QUALITY OF LIFE, should not be a luxury only the wealthy can afford. I feel it is important to help GROW our ECONOMY by CREATING and KEEPING HIGH PAYING JOBS in Hawaii. We should all be concerned about how our economy affects all in our community, from KEIKI to KUPUNA.
