Hawai'i is at a crossroads: the cost of living is skyrocketing, local families struggle to make ends meet, and young people are choosing to leave paradise for better job opportunities on the mainland. Hawai'i is the greatest place on Earth but many working families are being forced out of their island home to escape poverty. Every day at the legislature there is a struggle for Hawaii's future, and I stand firmly with local families who want to continue to call Hawaii their home.
