In 1963, women were paid 59 cents for every dollar that men were paid for the same work. In 50 years, we've only managed to close the wage gap by 18 cents to 77 cents nationwide. All Montanans deserve equal pay for an hour of work. As your representative, I will advocate for wage equality in support of Governor Bullock's "Equal Pay for Equal Work" task force initiative.
