U.S. Representative David McKinley, P.E. (R-W.Va.) announced today that he will serve on three House Energy and Commerce subcommittees during the 116th Congress:

* Environment and Climate Change
* Energy
* Oversight and Investigations

"The number one goal we have as an office is to help the Mountain State and West Virginians. Through my role on the Energy and Commerce Committee I will work to ensure that the needs of our state are heard," Rep. McKinley said. "Being on Oversight and Investigations will allow me to dig deeper into laws and regulations that affect our nation. Oversight and Investigations will also give us a chance to look for answers on what lead to the drug crisis in our state and look for solutions that will benefit our nation."

Congressman McKinley will also continue to serve on the Environment and Climate Change, and the Energy Subcommittees.

"West Virginia has seen firsthand the consequences of over regulation," Rep. McKinley said. "I will use my role on the Committee to push for legislation that fosters innovation, so America can continue using fossil fuels with less emissions while maintaining a reliable power grid."
