Today, U.S. Congresswoman Cindy Axne (IA-03) praised House passage of H.R. 1. , For the People Act, an historic reform package to ensure clean and fair elections, fight back against big money in politics, and demand accountability from public officials.
"I ran for Congress because I was fed up with the decisions being in made in Washington that are hurting our families and taking us backwards," said Rep. Axne. "This legislation will help end the culture of corruption, get money out of politics and ensure that the voices of Iowans are heard in Washington."
