Walorski Statement on U.S.-Mexico Agreement to Avoid Tariffs

U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) today released the following statement after President Trump announced an agreement with Mexico that suspends tariffs set to take effect next week:

"I'm grateful the U.S. and Mexico reached an agreement to address the border crisis and avoid costly tariffs that would have hurt American businesses and consumers. Now it's time for Congress to move toward final approval of USMCA. This modernized trade deal will be good for Hoosier manufacturers, farmers, workers, and families, and I look forward to passing it without delay."
