Issue Position

"I am 100% in favor of the individual citizen's right to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. Our Founders had personally experienced government tyranny. They provided a means for the American people to protect themselves from the possibility of government oppression, as well as a means of self-defense. I will be a leader in upholding the right to keep and bear arms.

This past session, we reduced the application and renewal fee for concealed carry licenses. In addition, we eliminated the fee for Active duty members of the Armed Forces and service-connected disabled veterans. I am honored to be endorsed by the National Rifle Association."
