Letter to Their Excellencies Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel and Benjamin Gantz, Alternate Prime Minister of Israel - Representatives Lamborn, Horn Lead Letter Congratulating Israel on Newly Formed Government

Dear Prime Minister Netanyahu and Alternate Prime Minister Gantz,

We write to congratulate both of you on Israel's newly-formed government. We are confident that, with your government as a partner, our country's alliance with Israel will continue to develop and deepen. Our shared values and common long-term goals for a peaceful Middle East are the foundation of our two countries' bond, which has proven durable now for over seven decades.

While the world these days struggles with uncertainty and the Middle East faces turbulence, you have agreed to work together so that Israel remains a bastion of stability and hope. Israel has weathered the threat from the current pandemic remarkably well and continues to be a beacon for other countries in many ways, including economic, social, cultural, and scientific progress. We salute your country's efforts to reach out to and cooperate with others in the region in strengthening the Middle East's ability to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. And we are hopeful that the new Israeli government will be an example of unity, cooperation, and inclusion to other countries.

Your country remains the closest ally of the United States and the only democracy in the Middle East, and we remain committed to working with you to advance peace and security in the region. As Co-Chairs and members of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus, we remain committed to Israel's security and well-being, and look forward to working together for a future of freedom and prosperity for the United States and Israel.

Mazel tov to both of you for forming Israel's new government!
