The US & Montana Constitutions are not just interesting historical documents, but are the guideposts for legislation. As a legislator, I will measure proposed bills against the Constitutions and ask the question, "Is this really our job?" before voting on any of the several thousand good ideas that come up each session.
There is an important difference between a good idea and a good law.
