Mitchell Applauds FEMA's Approval of Additional Unemployment Funds

Congressman Paul Mitchell (MI-10) released the following statement after the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved Michigan's application for federal funding that would provide an additional $300 per week to Michigan residents receiving unemployment insurance:
"It is welcomed news that Michigan's request for additional unemployment insurance funds from the Lost Wages Assistance Program was approved by FEMA. These funds will ensure folks who are still out of work due to the COVID-19 pandemic have the support they need, and I thank the Trump Administration for swiftly approving Michigan's request."
