Today, U.S. Representative Ross Spano (R-FL) released the following statement following the Senate's unanimous passage of Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) and Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) bill to ban all federal employees from using the TikTok social media application on government devices:

"TikTok and other Chinese Communist party-controlled companies are spying on Americans. China has hostile intentions towards our nation, and I am proud to stand with President Trump to stop their rogue behavior."

Rep. Spano is an original cosponsor of H.R. 6896, the "No TikTok on Government Devices Act', a bill introduced on 05/15/2020 and which has been referred to the Committee on Oversight and Reform in addition to the Committee on House Administration.
