Vice President Mike Pence and Ivanka Trump Meet with Victims of Minneapolis Riots, Slam the Left's Anti-Police Agenda

Press Release

Date: Sept. 24, 2020

As Joe Biden's Democrat Party works to defund the police and slander law enforcement officers, Vice President Mike Pence and Ivanka Trump met with Minnesotans who have suffered at the hands of lawless radicals. Joe Biden is simply too weak to stand up to the anti-police agitators within his own party, as shown by his repeated refusal to condemn the left-wing violence that has gripped America for months. As Vice President Pence and Ivanka Trump discussed, only President Trump has committed to back the blue and stand up for law and order:

"When Joe Biden was asked if he would cut funding to law enforcement, he responded 'yes, absolutely.' Joe Biden says America is systemically racist and that law enforcement has an implicit bias against minorities. His campaign staff helped bail out rioters and, in fact, his running mate just yesterday said that it was 'outdated and wrong-headed' to think that the only way to make our communities safe is more police officers on the street. Well let me say on behalf of your president, this vice president, I'll make you a promise: we're not going to defund the police. Not now, not ever," said Vice President Mike Pence.
