Congressman George Holding (NC-02) released the following statement on the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg:

"Lucy and I were saddened to learn about the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg yesterday.

"Her will to serve her country, even through multiple bouts with cancer, was substantial. Justice Ginsburg will always be remembered for the powerful role she played on the Supreme Court.

"Our prayers are with her family."
