GRAHAMSVILLE, NY -- On Thursday, October 8, U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) visited Catskill Mountain Sugar House in Sullivan County. The Congressman joined the owner, Walter Garigliano, Sugarmaker and Operations Manager John Garigliano, and Grahamsville resident Paul Guenther for a tour of the 800-acre maple farm and syrup processing facilities.

"New York's 19th Congressional District is home to thousands of unique small farms and businesses that make our upstate communities feel like home. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to tour Catskill Mountain Sugar House facilities in Grahamsville and see how they harvest and create maple syrup right here in Sullivan," said Rep. Delgado, member of the House Agriculture Committee. "I will continue to advocate for our family-owned small farms and businesses across our region and ensure that federal agricultures policies fit the needs of our local producers."

"Catskill Mountain Sugar House was honored to have Congressman Antonio Delgado visit our facilities and see firsthand how we create homemade organic maple syrup using our natural resources in the Catskills. The Congressman displayed a keen interest in our farming practices. We are grateful for his representation and look forward to welcoming the whole family back to the Sugar House as soon as they are able," said John Garigliano, the Sugarmaker, Catskill Mountain Sugar House.
