Aaron knows Kansas has a long history of treating our citizens equally, but the current statutes do not reflect this. Currently in Kansas, it is legal to fire, evict, or deny services to someone simply because of who they are, or they love. The LGBTQ+ community deserves protection from discrimination, which is Aaron will co-sponsor HB2130 , to add sexual orientation and gender identity to the state's anti-discrimination statutes. Equality under the law is a requirement for us all. As MLK Jr. said, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,".

Join Aaron in our mission to fight for a state-wide non-discrimination ordinance for LGBTQ+ by amending the current protections which focus solely on race,gender,nationality and religion, to include sexual orientation and gender identity as well.
