Congressman Tom Rice (R-SC) released the following statement regarding the HIRE Vets Medallion Program Awards.
"I am honored to announce that two businesses in the Seventh District, AHSC Inc. and Rhino Demolition and Environmental Services Corp., have been awarded the HIRE Vets Small Gold Medallion."

"Veterans who serve this country shouldn't struggle to find jobs at home, and these employers have made great strides in making veterans a priority in their businesses."

Background:

HIRE Vets Medallion Program is the only federal program that recognizes and honors job creators for their investments in recruiting, employing, and retaining our Nation's veterans.

In order to be awarded the 2020 HIRE Vets Small Gold Medallion, businesses must have:

Not less than 7% of employees hired, or
Not less than 75% of Vets hired retained for 12 months, and
At least 7% of employees are Vets
