Congressman Tim Ryan Holds Call with Japanese State Minister of Defense Nakayama on Missing Northeast Ohioan

Congressman Tim Ryan (OH-13) held a call with Japanese State Minister of Defense Nakayama yesterday on the ongoing investigation into Trevor Balint's disappearance. Balint was last seen on February 1st.

Trevor Balint is from Hubbard, Ohio and his wife, Britni Balint, is from Brookfield, Ohio.

"Minister Nakayama offered his personal support, as well as that of the Japanese government this evening. This is a tragedy for the Balint family. Minster Nakayama's comments reassured me that one of our most steadfast allies is doing everything that they can to help locate a member of our Ohio family. I will continue to do everything in my power to help expedite this investigation and hopefully bring a positive resolution to this difficult situation," said Congressman Tim Ryan.
