Letter to Democratic Colleague - Dear Colleague on American Rescue Plan Day of Action: Friday, March 5

Letter

Dear Democratic Colleague,

Last week, thanks to the courage and commitment of our Democratic Caucus, the House passed the American Rescue Plan -- taking a momentous step forward to ensure that, as President Biden promised, Help Is On The Way. Our Chairs, Members and staff can take great pride in their leadership on this legislation to save lives and livelihoods.

As the Senate advances this legislation, our priority in the House must now be to ensure that the American people know how the American Rescue Plan will benefit them and their families. To that end, we urge you to hold a Day of Action this Friday, March 5, to lift up the decisive action contained in this legislation -- including how it puts vaccines in people's arms, puts money in workers' pockets, puts children safely back in school and puts people back in work.

Please register your event using the google form HERE, post about it on social media using #AmericanRescuePlan and send press clips after the fact to DPCC@mail.house.gov so we can share and promote your good work. Additional materials, including event suggestions, will be forthcoming tomorrow.

Thank you for your leadership For The People to crush the coronavirus and defeat this devastating economic crisis.

Sincerely,

NANCY PELOSI
