Senator John Hoeven today issued the following statement on President Biden's executive action on guns:
"We need to ensure that law-abiding Americans have the ability to defend themselves as provided under the Constitution. Infringing on the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens will not prevent violence. Instead, the administration should focus on fully enforcing the gun laws that are already on the books, and ensuring communities have resources to address mental health issues."
