Location: Washington, DC

Today, Congressman Fred Keller (PA-12) released the following statement in response to Senator Joe Manchin's announcement that he has cosponsored the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to nullify President Biden's vaccine mandate for private employers and workers.

Senator Braun (R-IN) is leading this effort in the Senate with the support of all 50 Republican Senators. With Senator Manchin's support of the CRA, the resolution is likely to pass in the Senate as soon as next week with a simple majority vote. Congressman Keller is leading the companion bill in the House, which has garnered 206 cosponsors.

"The last thing businesses need right now is an unconstitutional vaccine mandate that drives a wedge between workers and job creators. I commend Senator Machin for his leadership on this issue and urge more of my Democratic colleagues in both chambers to stand with us and the American people against this blatant government overreach," said Congressman Keller.
