CONGRESSMAN GONZALEZ INVITES SOUTH TEXANS TO SEND VALENTINES TO VETERANS AND FRONTLINE WORKERS

Statement

Date: Feb. 1, 2022
Location: Washington, DC

For the third year in a row, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) will be collecting letters for the annual "Valentines for Vets" program. This program allows constituents show their thanks and appreciation by writing Valentine's Day cards to local veterans. As in 2021, constituents are also encouraged to participate in the "Valentines for Frontline Workers" to show their gratitude for those in our community who have been on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Our community owes a debt of gratitude to our brave veterans and frontline workers for their service to our country," stated Congressman Gonzalez. "This Valentine's Day, I encourage the people of the 15th District of Texas to show their appreciation to our veterans and our frontline workers for all they have given to our country and community."

Constituents of all ages are encouraged to participate by dropping off or mailing cards to Congressman Gonzalez's McAllen office by Wednesday, February 9, 2022. The McAllen office is located at 1305 W. Hackberry Ave., McAllen, TX 78501. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, February 9. 2022.
