Cuellar Responds to Announcement of Biden SCOTUS Nominee

Today, U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) released the following statement after President Biden announced Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as the Supreme Court nominee. The nomination follows the announcement that Justice Stephen Breyer will retire.

"I am proud to support President Biden's pick, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, to the Supreme Court of the United States. Judge Jackson was raised by two public school teachers in Washington, DC and Miami, Florida. She then worked her way to Harvard College and Harvard Law School. I appreciate Judge Jackson's dedication to education and know she will be an excellent justice," said Congressman Cuellar. "South Texas will benefit greatly from her legal expertise and I look forward to her swift Senate confirmation."
