U.S. Senator Steve Daines helped introduce a Senate resolution calling on the Biden administration to work with Congress to develop a plan to combat the rise in crime and the crisis at the southern border. The Resolution comes as the nation honors National Police Week.

"Montana is a northern border state with a southern border problem, and our families and communities are being directly impacted by Biden's incompetent handling of the crisis at our southern border and the rise in crime," Daines said. "For the safety of Montanans, it's high time Biden stops ignoring the southern border crisis he created and stops allowing crime to run rampant in our communities. If the President does not accept his failures, reverse course, and work with Congress on a plan to combat these crises, it's only going to get worse under his watch."
